Code Sec. 25365 SUBJECT: Sale of Surplus Property Blum Road Corporation Yard Site W.O. 5539 Martinez Area The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: Contra Costa County owns the real property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto. An undivided 1/3 interest in said property is DETERMINED to be surplus and no longer required for any County purpose. This Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the sale of an undivided 1/3 interest in said property to Contra Costa Flood Control and Water Conservation District, pursuant to Government Code Section 25365, and the Board Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a Grant Deed on behalf of the County in consideration for the payment received in full in the amount of $750,000.00, the estimated fair market value of said interest. The Interim County Administrator is AUTHORIZED to execute a Purchase Agreement with the District. The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause the Grant Deed to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder. The Board hereby FINDS that the project will not have a significant effect on the environment, and DETERMINES that the project is exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act as a Class 12 Categorical Exemption under County Guidelines and Section 15112 of the State CEQA Guidelines, and DIRECTS the Public Works Director to file a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk.
