RESOLUTION NO. 84/148
SUBJECT: PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
WHEREAS the Pledge of Allegiance symbolizes an attachment
to the traditions , ideals and interests of the United States; and
WHEREAS it is characteristic of political principals and
practices ; and
WHEREAS the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County
pledges its promise to support the ideals on which our constitution
was founded;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
of CONTRA COSTA COUNTY that it declares its intent to pledge
allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America at each and
every Board of Supervisors meeting.
