SUBJECT. Buchanan Field Airport
T-Hangar Development
Bid Acceptance
The Public Works Director having advised that:
On January 24 , 1984 the Board authorized the Public
Works Director to advertise for bids for T-Hangar development on the
east ramp of Buchanan Field Airport.
On February 16 , 1984 the bid was opened and publicly
read in the Terminal Building at Buchanan Airport. The Screening Committee
as identified in the "Airport Policy and Standards for Development" evaluated
the bid and found said bid in compliance with the bid documents.
The Screening Committee is recommending that the bid
submitted by Gerald T. Alves, P. O. Box 950, Pittsburg, California 94565
in the amount of $ .26 per square foot per year be accepted by the County.
Whereas a negative declaration pertaining to this
project was published with no protests , the Board hereby concurs in the
finding that the project will not have a significant effect on the Environment
and directs the Director of Planning to file a Notice of Determination
with the Clerk of the Board. The project has been determined to conform
with the General Plan.
The Public Works Director RECOMMENDS approval of the
recommendation by the Screening Committee to accept bid submitted by
Gerald T. Alves.
IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the recommendation
of the Public Works Director is APPROVED.
