HomeMy WebLinkAboutMINUTES - 03271984 - X.6 X& THE BOARD OF SIPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Order on,IMarch 27, 1984 by the following vote: AYES: Supervisors Powers, Fanden, Schroder, McPeak, Torlakson NOES:, None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None I SUBJECT: Disposition of County Service Area R-7 The disposition of County Service Area R-7 (CSA R-7) due to the incorporation of the cities of Danville and San Ramon need to have resolved four issues affecting park and recreation services and facilities in the San Ramon Valley. Supervisor Robert I. Schroder having recommended to the Board of Supervisors the following actions: 1. Based on the information provided by the County Assessor's Department, the Auditor-Controller shall be directed to transfer to the City of Danville its proportionate share of the unencumbered fund balance standing to the credit of Danville on June 30, 1983. Once the determination has been made by the County Assessor's Department regarding the assessed value of the incorporated portion of the City of San Ramon to the remaining portion of CSA R-7, the Auditor-Controller is directed to transfer to the City of San Ramon its proportionate share of the unencumbered fund balance standing to the credit of CSA R-7 as of July 1, 1983. i 2. The Planning Department is directed to determine and designate the amount of Park Dedication Fees standing to the credit of CSA R-7 as of July 1, 1982 to the present, and shall transfer to the cities of Danville and San Ramon their proportionate share. 3. The remaining portion of CSA R-7 (excluding the incorporated area of Danville and San Ramon) shall be separated in two zones. One zone shall be designated as the area in and around Alamo; the other zone shall be designated as the area in and around Bishop Ranch. The creation of these zones shall designate the revenues and expenditures of each area. 4. The Public Works Department and County Counsel are directed to develop an agreement with the City of San Ramon for the development and the operation and maintenance of the Vista San Ramon Park Site within the next sixty calendar days. The City of San Ramon shall be designated as the lead agency. I IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that the aforementioned recommendations of Supervisor Robert I.
