Exchange of Property
Central Street & 1st Street
Call et al
Richmond Area
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
Portions of Central Street and 1st Street in the Richmond Area are no longer
necessary for County or other public purposes and
A portion of land owned by Angelina Call et al is required for Central Street
reconstruction.
This Board hereby APPROVES the exchange of all of the County' s right, title
and interest in and to said excess roadway areas for the required roadway area pursuant
to Government Code Section 25526.5 and the Chairman of this Board is hereby AUTHORIZED
to execute on behalf of the County a Quitclaim Deed to Angelina Call et al for the
property described in Exhibit "A", attached hereto. The County Real Property Division
is DIRECTED to cause said deed to be delivered to the Grantees together with a copy
of this Resolution.
The Grant Deed from Angelina Call et al to Contra Costa County dated February
27, 1984 is hereby ACCEPTED and the County Real Property Division is DIRECTED .to
have said deed recorded in the Office of the County Recorder.

PARCEL ONE (Central Street)
A portion of Central Street being a portion of that parcel of land described
in deed to Contra Costa County recorded December 24, 1938 in Book 487 at
page 188 of Official Records of Contra Costa County, California, described
as follows:
Beginning at the northeasterly corner of said County parcel (487 O.R. 188)
at the southerly line of the parcel of land described in deed to Contra Costa
County recorded October 24, 1929 in Book 172 at page 483 of Official Records
of said County; thence from said point of beginning along said southerly
line (172 O. R. 483) north 890 20' 40" west 5.75 feet to a point from which
a radial line of a curve concave to the northwest having a radius of 45.00
feet bears north 890 41 ' 39" west; thence southwesterly along the arc of
said curve through a central angle of 640 56' 5211, a distance of 51.01 feet
to a point on the southwesterly line of said County parcel (487 O. R. 188)
from which a radial line of a curve concave to the northeast having a radius
of 125.00 feet bears north 490 14' 00" east; thence along said southwesterl
line southeasterly along the arc of said curve through a central angle of
60 00 ' 4011, a distance of 13.11 feet; thence south 460 46' 40" east 62.27
feet; thence north 570 29' 17" east 31 .02 feet; thence north 320 30' 43"
west 2.00 feet to a point from which a radial line of a curve concave to

188 of Official Records at the southerly line of the previously mentioned
County parcel (172. O.R. 483); thence from said point of beginning along said
southerly line, south 890 20' 40" east 220.78 feet to a point from which
a radial line of a curve concave to the south having a radius of 540.00 feet
bears south 120 31 ' 22" east• thence easterly along the arc of said curve
through a central angle of 86 31' 59", a distance of 80.42 feet to the east
line of said Contra Costa County parcel (172 O. R. 483) thence along said
east line, north 10 04' 20" east 27.55 feet to the north line of said County
parcel (172 O. R. 483) ; thence along said north line, north 890 20' 40" west
331.02 feet to a point from which a radial line of a curve concave to the
northeast having a radius of 45.00 feet bears north 270 37' 29" east; thence
southeasterly along the arc of said curve through a central angle of 00 13'
5311, a distance of 0.18 feet to a point of reverse curve; thence southerly
along the arc of a tangent curve concave to the west having a radius of 45.00
feet through a central angle of 620 54 ' 45", a distance of 49.41 feet to
the southerly line of said County parcel (172 O. R. 483) ; thence along said
southerly line south 890 20' 40" east 5.75 feet to the point of beginning.
Containing an area of 11,949 square feet or 0.274 acres of land more or less.

RESERVING THEREFROM from PARCELS ONE and TWO above, pursuant to the provisions
of Section 8340 of the Streets and Highways Code, the easement and right
at any time, or from time to time, to construct, maintain, operate, replace,
remove and renew sanitary sewers and storm drains and appurtenant structures
in, upon, over and across any highway or part thereof proposed to be abandoned
and pursuant to any existing franchise or renewals thereof, or otherwise,
to construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove, renew and enlarge lines
of pipe conduits, cables, wires, poles, and other convenient structures,
equipment and fixtures for the operation of gas pipelines, telegraphic and
telephone lines, railroad lines and for the transportation or distribution
of electric energy, petroleum and its products, ammonia, water, and for incidental
purposes, including access to protect the property from all hazards in, upon
and over the area hereinbefore described to abandoned.
