SD.9 REQUESTED amendment to Assembly Bill 2838 (Pavley), the Coastal Environmental Motor Vehicle
Mitigation Program, and AUTHORIZED the Chair, Board of Supervisors,to send a letter to Assembly
Member Pavley.
SD.10 DIRECTED the Librarian to study the unmet need for library services in Far East County communities
and directed the District III Supervisor's office to work with the Librarian and Library Commission to
identify service options for East County residents who do not have convenient library access, and to
report any findings to the Board.

D.l CLOSED the public hearing; ADOPTED Ordinance No. 2006-14, which increases existing fees and
adopts new fees charged by the Building Inspection Department for performing inspections, issuing
permits, plan checks, application processing, and other services related to mobile home parks, special
occupancy parks, and other housing related programs enforced by the Building Inspection Department;
and DIRECTED the Building Inspection Department and ounty Counsel to report back to the Board
by the end of September on circumstances in which the costs could be implemented as a pass-through
to the residents.
