C.2 APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Public Works Director, or designee, to execute a contract with
Berryman and Henigar, Inc.,in the amount of$35,000 to provide construction management services

C.29 General Services (0079): AUTHORIZE transfer of appropriations in the amount of$63,238 from
General Services-Fleet Services to Building Maintenance to replace four vehicles approved by the
Board on December 19, 2000. (Incorrectly appropriated to Fleet Services)
C.30 Public Works-CSA M-30 Danville(2499): AUTHORIZE new revenue in the amount of$1,400 from
assessments received from the service area and APPROPRIATE to CSA M-30 Danville area, to
reflect funds received from tax assessment.

C.31 AMEND Personnel Adjustment Resolution No. 18983, which added one Pest Detection Specialist—
Project position, to read one permanent-intermittent Pest Detection Specialist-Project position in the
Agriculture Department, effective June 6, 2001.
C.32 ADOPT Resolution No. 2001/305 correcting Resolution No. 2001/258, to reallocate the salary for
the class of Senior Hydrographer in the Public Works Department on the salary schedule.
C33 ADOPT Resolution No. 2001/306 authorizing additional compensation for supervisory duties
performed by an individual in the class of Lead Telecommunications Specialist in the Department
of Information Technology, effective May 21, 2001.
C.34 ACKNOWLEDGE receipt of petition from SEIU Local 535 for formal recognition of a proposed
representation unit comprising the classifications of Court Reporter and Chief Court Reporter,
employed by the Superior Court of California, Contra Costa County.
C.35 ADOPT Resolution No. 2001/307 appointing additional Personnel Examination Appeals Officers
in the Human Resources Department.
C.36 ADOPT Resolution No. 2001/308 adopting the Memorandum of Understanding between Contra
Costa County and the Deputy Sheriffs' Association Rank and File Unit, implementing negotiated
wage agreements and other economic terms and conditions of employment beginning October 1,
1998 through September 30, 2001. In the opinion of the County Administrator, salary and benefit
increases resulting from this action will have no material financial impact on the funding status of
the County Employees' Retirement System.
C.37 ADOPT Resolution No. 2001/309 adopting the Memorandum of Understanding between Contra
Costa County and the Deputy Sheriffs' Association Management Unit, implementing negotiated
wage agreements and other economic terms and conditions of employment beginning October 1,

a contract with the California Department of Community Services and Development in the

amendment with the State of California Major Risk Medical Insurance Board, effective June 30,

C.62 APPROVE and AUTHORIZE the Chief Information Officer of Department of Information
Technology, or designee,to execute contract amendments with Tower Structures,Inc.,to extend the
terms from June 30, 2001 to June 30, 2002 for replacement of the communication towers at Bald

support for the modified set of Principles of Participation (as compiled by staff with
the integrated comments of Save Mount Diablo/Greenbelt Alliance and the Contra
Costa County Citizens Land Alliance with the Principles prepared by the Contra Costa
Council); APPOINTED Supervisors Gerber and Glover to the Executive Governing
Committee of the Joint Powers Authority established to oversee development of the
