HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 02282006 - 2006/83 ,e2 t) o IN THE MATTER OF HONORING SEAN HERON RESOLUTION NO. 2006/83 FOR HIS DEDICATION TO WORKING WITH COMMUNITIES IN CONTRA COSTA COUNTY TO PRESERVE, PROTECT,AND EXPAND AFFORDABLE HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY Whereas, Sean Heron has led the East Bay Housing Organizations (EBHO) from 1998 to 2006 as its Executive Director; and Whereas, under Sean's leadership,EBHO has grown in its ability to serve the East Bay by adding to its staff, its budget, and greatly expanding its programmatic activities,its inenlbership base and its network of key allies beyond the traditional affordable Housing.community. EBHO has developed strong partnerships with base building organizations ,.tlie-interfaith coiilinur.nty".i�ganized labor, environment groups and the business community; and Whereas, Sean has guided EBHO to become:a regional.resource ui..lielping`to. uild leadership on affordable housu�g.issues; and .
