HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01012005 - 2005-300 i' RESOLUTION HONORING THE RESOLUTION NO. 20©SJ 300 ASSISTANCE LEAGUE OF DIABLO VALLEY I WHEREAS, Assistance League Of Diablo Valley serves as a commendable group of non-profit volunteers working together with distinguished service for philanthropic projects in Contra Costa County; and WHEREAS, In the performance of their dedicated work they-raise funds to support community 3 projects benefiting adults and childreft in need and at risk; and t , WHEREAS,Assistance'League OfDiablo'Valley has grown to include over 400 members who fundraise, staffand administer a variety of projects which its volunteer stewardship and combined t efforts result in the most beneficial outcome of community assistance; and WHEREAS, Special recognition is due for the Buena Vista Auxiliaries and the Assisteens I Auxiliary along with the Operation School Bell Project,Kids On theB lock project,Foresight ' Project, Assault Survivor Kits Project, R.E.A.D. Project,;TeleCare Project, Show on the Road { Project,and the Scholarships Project;;and WHEREAS, The dedication and excellence of Assistance League Of Diablo Valley members is evident through their activities at the local and county levels, which include the Lafayette Way Side Inn Thrift Shop and Costume.Rental site and new expansion in the Saranap area of their Community Resource Center Annex.
