MARTINEZ,CALIFORNIA REPORT NO. 72-A DATE March 31, 2004 PURPOSE Offer of Dedication - Sidewalk Easement- San Ramon Valley Center TO MEMBERS OF THE GOVERNING BOARD RECOMMENDATION The Governing Board has previously approved agreements for easements within the San Ramon Valley Center parcel in conjunction with private development of adjacent parcels. The Offer of Dedication - Sidewalk Easement is required to permit widening of an existing sidewalk to accommodate Americans with Disabilities (ADA) path of travel and is deemed conforming to the purpose of providing access to the proposed San Damon Valley Center campus and does not change district ownership of the identified easement area. Description of the sidewalk easement is included as Exhibit A and Exhibit B. It is therefore recommended that the attached Offer of Dedication - Sidewalk Easement to Contra Costa County be approved. FUNDING SOURCE This is a no-cost easement to the District. Sidewalk revision construction costs will be equally split between the District and developer. The District costs will be paid with state capital construction funds. BAPKGROUND The Board adopted a Resolution on April 30, 2003 accepting a grant deed for the San Ramon Valley Center parcel.
