on his Retirement ) RESOLUTION NO. 2004128
WHEREAS, Officer Bob Lauderdale retires from the City of Pleasant Hill Police Department after
25 years of exemplary service; and
WHEREAS, Officer Bob Lauderdale started his dedicated service with the City of Pleasant Hill
Police Department as a Volunteer Reserve Police Officer. He then became a Pleasant Hill Police Officer
in 1978; and
WHEREAS, O&cer Bub Lauderdale's career included assignments in Patrol, as a SWAT Team
member, and as a Motor Officer; and
WHEREAS, Officer Boh Lauderdale has contributed to the betterment of the Department by
completing his POST Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Certificates, Motorcycle Training Course,
Motorcycle Enforcement Training Program., Traffic Accident Investigation Technical Course and Firearms
Instructor; and
WHEREAS, Officer Boh Lauderdale has served the Pleasant Hill Police Department and
community for many years as a Motorcycle Officer specializing in traffic enforcement and citizen safety
throughout the area; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BEIT'RESOLVED, that the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County
acknowledges Officer Bob Lauderdale for 25 years of dedicated service to our(community and wishes
him well in all his future endeavors.
(PASSED AND ADOPTED ON, February 24, 2004 a unanimous voteof the Board members
present.
