SUBJECT: ADOPT Resolution No. 2004/ 276 approving a Notice of Intention to Convey Real Property
identified as portion of APN 355-160-011 to the State of California,Department of Transportation,
for the construction of the South Vista Point in conjunction with the new approaches and interchange
for the new Carquinez Bridge replacement.

The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
This Board intends to convey to the State of California,Department of Transportation,County owned real
property described in the attached Notice for$285,000.00(Two Hundred Eighty-Five Thousand and 00/100 Dollars)
in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Right of Way Contract— State Highway on file in the Public
Works Department.
This property is not required for County use and the sale price is the market value of said property.
This Board hereby sets Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at 9:30 a.m. in the Board's Chambers in the County
Administration Building,651 Pine Street,Martinez,California,as the time and place it will meet to determine that
the project is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act, and consummate this conveyance by a
four-fifths vote.
The Clerk of this Board is hereby DIRECTED to have the attached Notice published one time,at least one
week preceding the date set for hearing in the Contra Costa Times,a newspaper of general circulation(pursuant to
Government Code Section 6061).

Book 4184, Page 211,Contra Costa County Records described as follows:
Beginning at the southeasterly corner said conveyed land; thence along the southerly line of said
land (the southerly line being the northerly line of San Pablo Avenue), N. 77°36'50"W., 105.200
meters; thence leaving said southerly line,N. 60°54'18"E., 23.300 meters; thence N. 19°41'37" E.,
12.500 meters; thence N. 64°50'27" E., 26.300 meters; thence N. 30°40'56"E., 19.800 meters; thence
N. 76053'38"E., 22.750 meters; thence S. 70°38'00" E.,42.000 meters to the easterly line of said
conveyed land; thence along said easterly line, S. 15'03'10" W., 67.418 meters to the point of
beginning.
CONTAINING 5,443 square meters, more or less.
Reserving an easement to the Grantor, its successors or assigns, over the above-described parcel
of land with the right to ingress and egress over said parcel by the most reasonable and practicable
means.
The bearings and distances used in the above description are on the California Coordinate
System of 1927, Zone 3. Multiply the above distances by 1.0000715 to obtain ground level distances.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONVEY MEAL PROPERTY
(Gov. Code § 25365)
?Notice is hereby given that the Beard of Supervisors of Contra Costa County, on May 25,
2004, declared its intention to convey to the State of California, Department of
Transportation the following described real property:
All that real property situated in the State of California, County of Contra Costa, Crockett
area described on the attached Exhibit "X"-
Together
A :Together with and including all improvements located thereon.
Notice is further given that it is proposed to convey said property to the State of
California, Department of Transportation for Two Hundred Eighty-Five Thousand
and 00/100 Dollars ($285,000.00), being the fair market value of the property.
The Board will meet on Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at 9:30 a.m. in the Board's Chambers,
County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California, to make such
conveyance by at least a four-fifths vote.
