SUBJECT: Signature Authority
WHEREAS, the County of Contra Costa is applying for funding under the FY04 State
Homeland Security Grant Program; and,
WHEREAS, the Contra Costa Anti-Terrorism Approval Body has been appointed and is comprised
of the following members:
Dr. William Walker, County Public Health Officer
Chief Keith Richter, County Fire Chief
Chief Jim Parrott, Municipal Fire Chief
Sheriff Warren Rupf, County Sheriff
Chief David Cutaia, Chief of Police; and,
WHEREAS, the California Office of Homeland Security requires Signature Authority in
order to execute the Standard Agreement providing $3,597,629 to the Contra Costa
County Anti-Terrorism Approval Body under the FY04 Grant-,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County,that
the representatives by title below are hereby designated as Authorized Officials and are
authorized to execute for and on behalf of Contra Costa County, a public entity established
under the laws of the State of California, applications and documents for the purpose of
obtaining financial assistance:
1. Sheriff
2. Undersheriff
3. Sheriff's Chief of Management Services
