RESOLUTION HONORING THE FOUNDATION RESOLUTION NO. 2004/248
FOR OSTEOPOROSIS RESEARCH AND EDUCATION
WHEREAS, the Foundation for Osteoporosis Research and Education (FORE) serves as a premier
resource center for individuals,clinicians and the general public to prevent osteoporosis; and
WHEREAS,the Foundation's Awareness and Education Campaign is being honored for the goal of
reducing the most common disease in women past menopause which affects approximately 5 million
Californians and often leads to fractures that cause permanent disability and loss of independence; and
WHEREAS, the community of Rossrrkependent and productive residents at
risk for this disease which has begin 4 ` { r ` d1e l� ►rid Health Organization; and
