The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT.
This Board by Resolution No. 70/800 , dated December 1,
1970, and recorded December 10, 1970 in Book 6272, Official
Records , page 390, abandoned that portion of Union Street in
Pacheco, described in attached Exhibit "A" hereby incorporated
herein..
This Board 'hereby determines that said abandoned property
will not be required for any County highway purposes, and
hereby determines that said property should be conveyed to the
adjacent owner, Dorothy M. Van Cleave .
Pursuant to Streets and Highways Code, Section 960 .4 this
Board hereby approves said conveyance.
The Chairman of this Board is hereby authorized and
directed to execute a quitclaim deed for and on behalf of the
County, and cause the same to be delivered to said grantee for
recording.
PASSED AND ADOPTED on March 16, 1971.

EXHIBIT "A'`
The north 25-.forst half--width of Union Street between the
east line of Main Street (presently known as Pacheco Boulevard)
and the west line of Canal Alley, as shown on the "Map of
Pacheco, Contra Costa County, California,, 1869-18961, filed in
the office of the County Recorder in Volume E of Maps at page 95.
EXCEPTING AND RESERVING THEREFROM, pursuant to the provisions of
Sections 959.1 of the Streets and Highways Code, the easement and
right at any time or from time to time for the owner of an
existing facility used for utility purposes, including, but not
limited to transmission and distribution for electric power,
teleVhone and other comminication services and for pipe lines
for gas, water, storm drainage and sanitary sewers, to maintain,
operate, replace, remove, renew, and enlarge existing lines of
poles, wires, pipes and ether convenient structures, equipment
and fixtures for the operation of existing facilities, in-
eluding access to protect the property from all hazards in, upon,
under, and over the street hereinbefore described to be abandoned
by said County of Contra Costa.
