The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT.* On April, 7 , 1970 this Board approved the Lease Agreement between Contra Costa County and Orinda Community Center Corpora- tion, a California non-profit corporation as Lessee,' to maintain and operate certain County-owned real property described therein for a community center` as recreational facilities under the Count; Service Area LIB-8. Said Lessee (Orinda Community Center) and its sponsor (the Orinda Association;) advised the County dmini- strater, who informed this 'Beard, that the property to ated at 20 Avenida de Orinda at Orindal, California, 'acquired' for recrea- tional community enter under Counter Service Area LII-_$ Is no loner suitable for County purposes!, and recommends that said property described In Exhibit "Ate , attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be sold in accordance with Section 2552 ,et seq., , of the Government Code , as required by law. This Board declares its intention to sell the above property (said Service 'Area LIB-8) for and on behalf of the Contra Costa County under the terms and <conditions contained in the Notice attached hereto and made a,part' hereof . The minimum. price for said' real property is Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000) ; and the minimum bid deposit shall' be Nine Thousand Dollars ($9,000) The terms< and conditions set forth in the Notice to Bidders as prepared by the County Right of Way Agent are hereby approved. NOTICE OF INTENTION TC' SELL REAL PROPERTY (old Orinda Fire tatloii'T­ NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa, State of California, has , on the 2nd day of March, 1971, in regular meeting, adopted a resolution by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of all of Its, members, declaring Its intention to sell for the Contra Costa County the real property >and Improvements , former fire station located at 20 Avenida de Orinda, Orinda, California as described therein. NOTICE IS HEREBY. FURTHER GIVEN that it is proposed to sell said property consisting of approximately 15,000 square feet Of land and a 2-story building formerly used as a fire station, to the highest bidder; that the minimum price for said property is to be the sum of Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000) ; that Tuesday , the 4th day of May, 1971 at 11:00 a.m. of said day, in the Chambers of the Board of Supervisors, Administration Building, Martinez, California, has been fixed >as the time and place >when said Board of Supervisors will receive and consider sealed proposals accompanied with a minimum Nine Thousand Dollars ($9,000) bid deposit to purchase said property.
