Code H56310', 563112` to County Service Area. ,X-4 ) 563121, .56313)' RESOLUTION INITIATING PROCEEDINGS FOR CHANCE TSS ORGANIZATION TO ANNE SLTBDIVISIONS 3898 and 4029 '(SAN RAMDN AREA) TO COUNT' SERVICE AREA m»4K The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT Change io organization by annexation of Subdivisions 3898 and 40,29 (San Ramon Area) to County Service Area M-4 has been proposed by the >.represexatative of the mer of said subdivisions. esnlntlpn of application for the proposed annexation of Subdivisions 3898 and 4029 to County Service Area M-4 was filed by the representa- tive of the owner with the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission on December 8, 1970. ` The reason for such ''pro- posed annexation is to provide the said territory with those services rendered by County Service Area M-4. namely street lighting, street sweeping, and local pa rks, recreation or parkway facilities and services . On January b,, 1971., the Local Agency Formation Commission approved the resolution of application for the annexation of Sub- divisions 3898 and 4029 to County service Area _4; without condition, declared the territory proposed to be annexed as uninhabited, and assigned the propose- designation as "Subdivisions 3398 and 4029 Annexation to County' Service Area M-4'." The exterior boundaries of> the territory proposed to be annexed are described':" in Exhibit "A", attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. At 10:00 a.m, on Tuesday, March 9 1971, in the Chambers of the Board of Supervisors, Administration Building, Martinez,, California, this Board will conduct a public hearing on the pro- posed annexation. At the hearing the testimony of all interested persons or taxpayers; for or against the proposed annexation will be RESOLUTION NO. 71/63 heard, and any interested person desiring] to make<wri.tten protest thereto must do so by written communication filed with the Clerk before the hearing. , A written protest by an owner of land' must contain a description sufficient to identify his land, and a written protest by a voter must contain his residential address . At the conclusion of the hearing,'' the Beard of Supervisors shall either disapprove the proposed 'annexation or order the annexa- tion in accordance with Government Cade H56320 through 56322. The Clerk of the Board is hereby 'directed to publish the text of this resolution once a week for two successive weeks in the "Valley, Pioneer``, a newspaper of 'general circulation published in this County and circulated in the territory wherein the proposed annexation is situated, the first publication to be made not later'' than fifteen (15) days prior' to the hearing date. The Clerk of this Board is also d.irec;ted to post the text of this resolution on the bulletin board of this Board at least fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date and >such' posting will continue to the time' of the hearing,. The Clerk of this Board is further directed to give notice ' by mailing notice of heari.ng;, at least fifiteen', (15) days prior to the hearing date to all 'persons and counties ,' cities or districts, which shall have theretofore filed a written request for special notice with the Clerk of this Beard PASSED .AND ADOPTED on January 26, 1971, by this Board.
