Code 5§56320, 56323, 56451) - he Contra Costa County Board. of Supervisors RESOLVES THAT. On December 15, ' 197.0 this Board adopted Resolution No.70/842 , initiating proceedings for the annexation of Subdivision 4011 (Clayton Area) to County Service Area IL-14. annexation had been proposed by the representative of the owner of said subdivision by Resolution of Application filed with the ExecutiveOfficerof the Local Agency Formation Commission on October 28 ,19 0 . The reason for the proposed annexation is to provide sa "d territory with the services rendered by County Sery ce Area , name y,, street lighting, aKu par way landscape maintenance. On December 2� 1970, the Local Agency Formation Commission approved the resolution of application without condition. The Commission also declared the territory proposed to be annexed as uninhabited, and assigned the proposal designation as "Subdivision 4011 Annexation to County Service Area M--14" The exterior boundaries of this territory are as described in Exhibit "A"' attached hereto and by reference incorporated herein, and are entirely within this County. This Board fixed. 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 26 . 1971 as the time for a public hearing on the annexation of the above said territory. Notice of said hearing was duly given by (1) publication in the "Concord Tr " , (2), pasting on the Board 's Bulletin Bo.alnd, and 3 mailing notice to all persons and counties, cities, or d stricts 'which had filed a written request for special notice with the 'Clerk of the Board. This Board, at the time and place set for said hearing, heard the determination of the Local Agency Formation Commission read aloud, called for evidence or protests as provided for by Government Code Section 56314 , and heard and duly considered such evidence and protests This Board hereby finds that this proposed annexation is in the best interest of the people of said County_ Servlg2 ,Ar2 This Beard hereby finds that the territory to be annexed is uninhab- ited, and that no landowner therein filed' a written pretest . This Board hereby orders this annexation without election and without being subject to confirmation by the voters .
