Notice of Completion of Contract with and NOTICE OF COMPLETION

The Board of Supervisors RESOLVES THAT:
The County of Contra Costa on December 10, 2002, contracted with Bruce Carone
Grading & Paving, Inc. for the Sitework for the Home Base Center at the George
Miller Center, 3020 Grant Street, Concord and the Staff Resource Center at the
Antioch Fairgrounds, 1203 W. Tenth Street, Antioch for the Commura Services
DD artment, Budget Line Item No. 4421-4480 & 4481, Authorization�o. 0928-
9484B & VM481 B, with First National Insurance Company of America as surety,
for work to be performed on the grounds of the County; and
The Director of General Services reports that said work has been inspected and
complies with the approved plans and specifications, and recommends its acceptance
as complete as of October 21, 2003; and. recommends the withholding of$10,120.00
pursuant to the withhold summary' provisions of the contract between Bruce
Carone Grading & Paging, Inc. and the County.
Therefore, said work is accepted as recommended above, and the Clerk shall file with
the County Recorder a copy of this Resolution and Notice as a Notice of Completion
for said contract; and the Director of General Services, or designee, is directed to
withhold monies otherwise due pursuant to the letter dated October 3, 2003.
Time extension to the date of acceptance is granted as the work was delayed due to
unforeseeable causes beyond the control and without the fault or negligence of the
Contractor.
