Contra Costa County Department of Employment and Human Services after 36 of exemplary service; and 9WE.REAS, .gene Gonzales began her dedicated service with the Department of Employment and Human Services as a Lead Clerk III. She then became a Senior Clerk in 1979, a Clerical Supervisor of the Data Coordinator Unit in 1980, and currently serves as Data Control Coordinator with responsibility for East and Central County offices; and 4WEREAS, Irene Gonzales participated in the redesign of both the Martinez and Antioch department offices; and CVhI'E.REAS, Irene Gonzales contributed to the betterment of the Department by volunteering to take on extra assignments and being a mentor to new employees who have gone on to serve the County; and WHEREAS, Irene Gonzales leaves a legacy of being dedicated, hardworking, loving, supportive and steadfast. 1V01 ; THEREFORE, BE IT RRESOLVE ,, that Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors congratulates Irene Gonzales for a long career of extraordinary service to our County and wishes her well in all her future endeavors and many happy times with her family and numerous friends.
