(All Districts)(WO5244) The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: The Public Works Director, Engineer of Work for Countywide Landscape District AD 1979-3 (LL-2), ,filed an annual report for Fiscal Year 2003120104, and the Board adopted its Resolution of Intention to levy and collect assessments within the Assessment District Zones 1,2,3,4, 7, 10, 11, 17, 18, 19,21,22,27,35,36,37,38,42,45, 48,54,57,61,63,64 and 68 for Fiscal Year 200212003 and tabulated mail-in ballots for Zone 1,2,4 at the public hearing held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday,July 8,2003,in the Chambers of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Contra Costa, Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California 94553. Notice of the hearing was given in the time and manner required by law. Upon review of the proposed Assessment District Zones 19 and 61 budgets in the Preliminary Engineer's Report for Countywide Landscape District AD 1979-3 (LL-2) for Fiscal Year 2003/2004, it was necessary to adjust the proposed assessments for Zone 19 from $100.00/parcel to $200.00/parcel and Zone 61 from $35.00/parcel to $190.00/parcel due to a projected increase in maintenance costs. It was not necessary to hold an election since the revised assessments fall within the maximum allowable for Zone 19($200.00)and Zone 61 ($190.00). At the public hearing, the Board afforded to every interested person an opportunity to make a protest to the annual report either in writing or orally, and the Board has considered each protest. The Board hereby overrules each of these protests and finds that the protest against the proposed improvements in each zone, including all written protests not withdrawn in writing before the conclusion of the protest hearing,is made by the owners of less than one-half of the area of the land to be assessed. The Board then closed the public hearing. The Board hereby confirms the Final Engineer's Report,Diagram and Assessments as set forth in the annual report of the Assessment Engineer of Work and hereby levies the assessment to be placed on the tax rolls set forth therein for Fiscal Year 2003/2004.Diagrams and Assessment Roll are on file with the Clerk ofthe Board and Public Works Department.
