on their Retirement } RESOLUTION NO. 20031426
W MU4S Pete&Pat Weideman have been involved with the Pleasant Hill community for many years. However,
they have decided to retire early and move to Pleasant Hid, Tennessee to be closer to their children and grandchildren;and
W iER AS Pat Weideniain as her first major accomplishment worked hard to get the County Connection to move the
fixed route bus stop from the corner of L.ongbrook and Ellinwood to a place directly in front of her home;and
9 MVEAS Pat Weidemen was then asked to report on the transportation issues at the C>ommusion on Aging
meetings. She was one of three who authored a grant to secure a senior van. She has served as a member of the
Commission;and
94MZ S Pat Weidexman has received the Citizen of the Year award and the Mayor's award;and
RUFRLU Pete Weideman thoroughly enjoyed recruiting city officials and dignitaries for the Pleasant Hills' 4"of
July dunk tank and presenting participants with the right gift on the day of the event;and
917 EREAS Pete Weideman is very proud of the work he has done at Rodgers Ranch. Through his direction,
Pete's Painting Posse painted the house and scheduled open houses for people to see what the ranch was all about. He
persuaded local vendors to contribute thousands of dollars for the bathroom renovation; and
WHEREAS; Pete Weideman has received the Mayor's award and the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors
Appreciation award
NOW 7HVW 7R.l BE IT RESOLVED that this Board of Supervisors does hereby honor Pete and Pat
Wexden=and extend its best wishes on their retirement in Pleasant Hill, Tennessee.
