CODE § 25350) SUBJECT: ADOPT Resolution No. 2003/4 2 3 approving Notice of Intention to purchase real property located at 1220 Morello Avenue, Martinez, and determine that the purchase is exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act(CEQA). [CP#03-29] APN 162.-332-018 Martinez Area The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: It intends to purchase from Earl W. Baca and Arthur K. Baca, for County purposes, the real property described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for $2,650,000, in accordance with Section 20 of the terms and conditions of the Second Modification of Lease Agreement between the County of Contra Costa and Earl W. Baca and Arthur K. Baca, dated May 19, 1992 and amended on May 20, 1997 and July 14, 1998, which is a fair and reasonable price therefor. A copy of said agreement is on file in the General Services Department, Lease Management Division. This Board will meet on July 22, 2003, at 9:30 AM in the Board's Chambers, County Administration Building, Martinez, California, to consummate this purchase and the Clerk of this Board is DIRECTED to publish the attached notice in the Contra Costa Times pursuant to Government Code Section 6063. This Board hereby FINDS that this activity will not have a'significant effect on the environment, and that it has been determined to be exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act under State CEQA guidelines Article 5, Section 15061 (b)(3). This Board DIRECTS the Director of Community Development to file a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk, and DIRECTS the Public Works Director to arrange for payment of the $25.00 fee to the County Clerk for filing and a $25.00 fee to Community Development for processing of the Notice of Exemption.
