(Ail Districts) DATE: June 17, 2003 PAGE: 2 WHEREAS, the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors as the Governing Body of the Contra Costa County Flood Control District, on behalf.of the Contra Costa Clean Water Program, desires to join with the fbIlowing designated jurisdictions in the implementation of a regional used oil collection program; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water Conservation District authorizes the Contra Costa Clean Water Program to be applicant and lead jurisdiction for Used Oil Recycling Block Grant, Fiscal Years 2003/2004 through 2006/2007, on behalf of itself and the participating jurisdictions (as shown by the attached authorizing letters). BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief Engineer, Contra Costa County Flood Control and Water District, on behalf of the Contra Costa Clean Water Program, or its designee, is hereby .authorized and empowered to execute in the name of the participating jurisdictions all necessary applications, contracts, payment requests, agreements and amendments hereto for the purposes of securing grant funds and to implement and carry out,the purposes specified in the grant application.
