No. 2007/615 to Modify General Salary)
Increases For Nonrepresented Nurse)
Managers and Supervisors)
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution No. 2003/1 which superceded Resolution No.
2000/372 and provides for a program of compensation and benefits for County Elected and Appointed
Department Heads, Management Employees, Exempt Employees and Unrepresented Employees for the
period October 1, 2002 and continuing to September 30, 2005 and until further Order of the Board; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution No. 2002/615 which provided for general salary
increases for employees in job classifications designated as miscellaneous employees (for retirement
plan purposes) as follows: ` rt
October 1, 2002 Wages: 5%
October 1, 2003 Wages: 3%
October 1, 2004 Wages: 3%
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution No. 2003/135 which provided enhanced
retirement benefits to the supervisors and managers of employees represented by California Nurses
Association (CNA), to nonrepresented employees within similar job classifications as employees in
bargaining units represented by CNA, and to the supervisors and managers of those nonrepresented
employees effective January 1, 2005 versus earlier implementation dates of October 1, 2002 and January
1, 2003 for all other nonrepresented miscellaneous members of CCCERA employed by the County; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that employees in job classifications listed in Appendix A will,
in lieu of the general salary increases previously granted by Resolution No. 2002/615, receive general
salary increases as follows:
October 1, 2002 Wages: 5% (previously granted)
October 1, 2003 Wages: 3%
April 1, 2004 Wages: 2%
October 1, 2004 Wages: 2%
April 1, 2005 Wages: 2%
