RRRIM E ITION 2nn3J 33 DETERMINATION THAT AN ACTIVITY IS EXEMPT FROM THE CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT (CEQA) FILE NO.: WO 5575 CP NO.: 02-47 ACTIVITY NAME: San Ramon Valley Schedule C intercepter and Force Main (Central Contra Costa Sanitary District) Easements DATE: May 16, 2002 PREPARED BY: Trina Torres This activity Is not subject to the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Article 5, Section 15061 (b) (3) of the CEQA Guidelines. It can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the activity may have a significant adverse effect on the environment. DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTIVITY: In 1986, Central Contra Costa Sanitary District (CCCSD) acquired a 12-foot easement, along the Iron Horse Trail from Contra Costa County(County), but didn't install its facilities. Now CCCSD wants to relocate a portion of the easement area, approximately 18 feet east of the original easement, to install its sewer pipeline. The activity consists of the County granting the Right of Entry, surface and subsurface easements (approx.12 ft. by 13,000 ft.) to CCCSD, so that they can install a 24-Inch diameter sewer pipeline that will tie into the San Ramon Sewage Pumping Station and into an existing sewer line, within the County's property, as well as granting a Quitclaim meed from CCCSD to the County, and relinquishing their rights to the old easement. CCCSD prepared an Environmental Impact Report (San Ramon Valley Trunk Sever Improvement Project SCH#86070109, Sept. 1986)for the work associated for the installation of the sewer force main pipe. The easements are located within the City of San Ramon. The easements (Fig. 2) will extend beneath Montevideo Chive, Bollinger Canyon Road, Executive Parkway, and Norris Canyon Road, and above the surface paralleling the Iron Horse Trail. General Plan Conformance will be obtained from the City of San Ramon. LOCATION: The easement is located in the south county area, in the City of San Ramon(Figures 1-3).
