for the 2001 Season ) RESOLUTION NO. 20021683
RVJYRMAS, the De La Salle H4rh School Boy's Football Team has won 126 games in a row over a span of
11 seasons, a streak that represents one of the most amazing feats in the entire sports world, not just in high school
sports;and

WHEREAS, the De La Salle H.,h School Boy's Football Team has not lost a game since 1991, and;
H IM A$ the De La Salle High School Boy's Football Team is the 2001 Bay Valley Athletic League
Champions and the North Coast Section Champions with a 12 - 0 record;and
WFV'REAS, the De La Salle High School Boys' Basketball Team has demonstrated that it is an explosive
and talented team with the personnel and talent to make it to the NorCal;and
9,TME4$ the De La Salle Hikh School Boy's Basketball Team is the 2001 Bay Valley Athletic League
Champions and the North Coast Section Champions with a 26- 3 record; and
97HEZZEAS, the De La Salle H46 School Boy's Water Polo Team is the 2001 Bay Valley Athletic League
and the North Coast Section Champions with a 18- 3 record;and
WHEREA$ the De La Salle Hikh School Boy's Cross Country Team is the 2001 Bay Valley Athletic
League Champions and earned Second Place at the North Coast Section with a 6- 1 record;and
W]WREAS, the De La We Hikh School Boy's Soccer Team is Bay Valley Athletic League Champions and
the De La Salle.lrh School Boy's Wrestling Team had five wins.
NOW, THEREFORF, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors does honor the De La Salle
High School Boys'Sports Teams and wishes them continued success
