SUBJECT: ADOPT Resolution No.20021484 approving Exchange of Surplus Real Property
located at 2100 Crestview drive, Pittsburg.
Project No. 4660-6X4287

The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
Contra Costa County acquired certain real property on May 31, 2001 in the City of
Pittsburg, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for highway purposes. Said property is
DETERMINED to be surplus and no longer necessary for County or other public purposes.The
parcel was purchased with Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA)funds.
This Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the exchange of said property to
.Mmes J. Busby and Irvin Deutscher, a Partnership, pursuant to Streets & Highways Code
Section 560 and the Board Chair Is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a Grant Deed reserving a
Temporary Construction Easement until September 30, 2003 described in Exhibit"B%attached
hereto as partial compensation for a condemnation action. The estimated fair market value of
the property is $122,035.00. The remaining balance shall be paid in cash by the County and
reimbursed by Contra Costa Transportation Authority as agreed upon in a settlement
condemnation agreement.The County is acquiring approximately.82 acres of land for the State
Route 4 East Project on behalf of the Contra Costa Transportation Agency.
The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said Grant Deed to be delivered to
the grantee.
The Board of Supervisors ADOPTED the Mitigated Negative Declaration/Finding of No
Significant Impact on March 27, 2001. These property rights are required for the construction
of an expanded freeway along the southern portion of:Mate Route 4 in the City of Pittsburg In
accordance with approved plans and specifications.

and being a portion of that certain parcel of land described in the Grant Deed to Contra Costa County,
recorded May 31, 2001 in Document No. 2001-0147481-00 in the Official Records of said County, more
particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the most easterly southeast comer of said County parcel; Thence along the south line of the
County parcel,North 72° 17'46"West, 68.881 meters to the southwest corner of the County parcel, same
comer being on the east right of way line of Crestview Drive; Thence along the west line of the County
parcel, same being the east line of Crestview Drive, North 170 42' 14" East, 28.279 meters to the
beginning of a curve to the right, from which point the centers bears South 72° 17' 46" East; Thence
leaving the west line of and crossing through the County parcel for the following two (2) courses: in a
northeasterly direction 10.450 meters along the are of said curve to the right, having a radius of 6.100
meters and through a central angle of 980 09' 04", and South 640 08' 41"East, 62.548 meters to the east
line of the County parcel; Thence along the east line of the County parcel, South 17° 42' 14" West,
25.449 meters to the Point of Beginning.
