FISCAL IMPACT: None. REASONS FOR RECOMMENDATION/BACKGROUND: In accordance with Section 34-12.016 of the County's Employer-Employee Relations Resolution 61/1165, on May 31, 2002 AFSCME, Local 512 filed a petition for modification of an established representation unit to include the following two (2)job classifications, currently represented by Public Employees Union, Local One: Real Property Technical Assistant (DY7B) Senior Property Technical Assistant (DY7C) The petition qualifies in that proof of employee approval met or exceeded the minimum thirty percent (30%) required for qualifying the petition.
