HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01012002 - 2002-315 ol ga*mt�z RESOLUTION HONORING RESOLUTION NO. 2002!315 THE SEVENTY-FIFTH ANNIVERSARY OF THE RODEO HERCULES FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT WHEREAS,the Rodeo Volunteer Fire Department dedicated its original brick firehouse on Third Street in Rodeo in April 1927. Ten years after the firehouse was built, the importance of the growing department was recognized and in 1937 the official Rodeo Fire District was formed; and WHEREAS, in 1946 the Board of Commissioners, led by Chief Lloyd Cooper, approved an order to have a firefighter on duty at all times,day and night.
