SUBJECT: In the Matter of Adjusting the RESOLUTION NO. 20021 5.�.5
Salary Step Placement for two
Probation Department
employees
WHEREAS the Probation Department extended a commitment to two existing
employees to allow for a step increment increase. One Deputy Probation Officer I
from step 2 to step 3 and one Deputy Probation Officer III from step 3 to step 4,
WHEREAS the County Salary Regulations, adopted in 1983, do not allow for six
month merit increases for employees hired above the first step in their classified
salary range without benefit of a Resolution,
It is therefore recommended by the Probation Department and the Human
Resources Department that the Board adopt this Resolution to address the
circumstances listed above.
THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS in its capacity as
governing Board of the County of Contra Costa and all districts of which it is ex-
officio governing Board RESOLVES THAT:
Effective on the dates noted below, the salary step placement of the named
employees in the classifications of Deputy Probation Officer I and Deputy
Probation Officer III respectively shall be as follows:
