COMMITTEES, SPECIAL COUNTY COMMITTEES AND REGIONAL ORGANIZATIONS SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)S BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION RESOLUTION NO. 200214 REQQM--MENDATION: 1. ACKNOWLEDGE that the Board of Supervisors adopted a policy on Board Member Committee Assignments on March 21, 2000. 2. ACKNOWLEDGE that adoption of a new Master Resolution with a complete roster of all appointments is required by Board policy whenever terms expire or new appointments are made. & INDICATE that this RESOLUTION supersedes in its entirety the Resolution No. 2001/499, which was adopted by the Board of Supervisors on October 16, 2001. 4. CONCUR with the appointment of one Alternate to the SWAT, one Alternate to the TRANSPLAN, and one Alternate to the Bay Area Partnership Governing Board, the terms of which will correspond to the terms of the primary seats. & APPOINT a Member and Alternate to the East County Transportation Improvement Authority, newly established by Board action on December 18, 2001. 6. ACKNOWLEDGE the existence of current ad hoc Board committees listed on Attachment IV, ESTABLISH a new Ad Hoc Committee on Afterschool4All, and APPOINT Supervisors John Gioia and Mark DeSaulnier to the new committee. 7. RESOLVE that Board Members as named are APPOINTED to serve on Board committees, special county committees and regional boards/ committees/ commissions as specified on Attachment I for Internal Committees, on Attachment 11 for Regional Committees, Attachment III for Special Restriction Committees, and Attachment IV for Ad Hoc Committees.
