SUBJECT: ADOPT Resolution No. 2001/592 conveying County surplus real property to
San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District in connection with the State Route
4/Bailey Road Interchange Project. CP# 00-71.

The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
Contra Costa County acquired certain real property by Final Order of Condemnation on
April 9, 1997, Series # 97-0058641-00, described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, for highway
purposes. Said property is DETERMINED to be surplus and no longer necessary for County
purposes.
This Board hereby APPROVES and AUTHORIZES the conveyance of said property to
San Francisco Bay Area RapidTransit District, pursuant to Streets & Highways Code Section
960 and the Board Chair is hereby AUTHORIZED to execute a Grant Deed on behalf of the
County in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Cooperative Agreement on file in the
Public Works Department.
The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said Grant Deed to be delivered to
the grantee.

All that real property situated in the City of Pittsburg,County of Contra Costa, State of California, being a portion
of the Southwest Quarter of Section 14, Township 2 North, Range 1 West, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian
more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the South Quarter corner of Section 14; thence N. 00 05'46"E. along the east line of said
Southwest Quarter of Section 14 a distance of 1,188.97 feet to the intersection with centerline of Leland Road as
shown on Oak Hills, Unit 1, Subdivision 6887, Book 324 of Maps, at Page 44, Contra Costa County Records;
thence N. 890 54'35"W. along said centerline of Leland Road a distance of 893.22 feet;thence 183.83 feet along
