THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA

SUBJECT: ADOPT Resolution No. 2001/ 548 approving Notice of Intention
to exchange interest in Real Property with Pleasant Hill Lodging
Partners, L.P. for the enhancement of the Soldier's Monument Site.
Portion of Assessor's Parcel Nos. 149-110-053, 056, 079 & 081
Project No. 4405-4197
Pleasant Hill Area
The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
This Board intends to exchange with Pleasant Hill Lodging Partners, L.P., an
easement in County owned real property described in Exhibit "A-1" for an easement in
adjacent land of equal value described in Exhibit "A-2" in accordance with the terms and
conditions of the Easement Agreement to be approved at the hearing.
The interest is not required for County use and the exchange is for an interest in
property of equal value.
This Board hereby sets Tuesday, December 4, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. in the Board's
Chambers in the County Administration Building, 651 Pine Street, Martinez, California, as
the time and place it will meet to consummate this conveyance by a four-fifths vote.
The Clerk of this Board is hereby DIRECTED to have the attached Notice published
one time, at least one week preceding the date set for hearing in the Contra Costa Times,
a newspaper of general circulation (pursuant to Government Code Section 6061).

Notice is further given that it is proposed to convey an easement in exchange for property
rights of equal value.
