APPOINT Gayle B. Uilkema as the Board's representative and John Gioia as the alternate representative to the Urban Counties Caucus. 2. RESOLVE that the Board members as named are appointed to serve on Board committees, special county committees and regional boards/committees/ commissions as specified for Internal Committees on Attachment I, Regional Committees on Attachment II and Special Restrictions Committees on Attachment Ili. 3. UPDATE Attachment I of this Resolution to reflect the new appointments to Urban Counties Caucus. 4. INDICATE that this Resolution supersedes in its entirety the Resolution No. 2001/473, adopted by the Board on October 9, 2001. BACKGROUND: Each year, the Urban Counties Caucus select its representative to CSAC's Executive Board at the CSAC Annual Conference, scheduled for November 27-29, 2001. Last year, Contra Costa County could not be considered for the CSAC Executive Board appointment because our Board of Supervisors had not yet selected its representatives to the Urban Counties Caucus for the coming year. Appointments to the Urban Counties Caucus at this time will allow Contra Costa County to be considered for the CSAC Executive Board.
