WHEREAS, the history of The Mechanics Bank is a chronicle of services to the
community, not only as customers,but;as friends; and,
WHEREAS,The Mechanics Bank has a history of three generations of a family that has
fostered a philosophy of kindness,concern and`commitment to the community; and,
WHEREAS, The Mechanics Bank is built on, traditions still observed more than 90
years after io founding,-,and,

local anon-profit`organizations including' East Bay,'-Centerl,for the Performing Arts, Big
