HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01012001 - 2001-353 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Resolution on August 14, 2001 by the following vote: AYES: SUPERVISORS GIOIA, DESAULNIER, GLOVER, GERBER, AND UILKEMA NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE ABSTAIN: NONE RESOLUTION NO.2001/ 353 (S &H § 8355) Subject: ADOPT Resolution No.2001/_to approve the quitclaim of the County's interest in a vacated portion of Siino Avenue and authorize the Chair of the Board of Supervisors to execute quitclaim deeds to David M. King and Edwin and Anna White, Bay Point area[CDD-CP# 00-104] (Applicant, David M. King)Project No. 0676-6Q1861. The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: On August 14, 2001, the Board adopted Resolution No. 353 which vacated a portion of Siino Avenue. This Board hereby DETERMINES that said land,described in Exhibit"A"and shown as Exhibit "B"attached hereto,was previously subject to a street,highway or public service easement,and is no longer needed by the public. The Board hereby determines that any County right,title and interest in said property should be quitclaimed to the adjacent owners. Pursuant to Streets and Highways Code Section 8355,the Board hereby APPROVES the quitclaim of the County's interest to said property,road divided equally,to David M. King and Edwin and Anna White and AUTHORIZES the Chair to sign the Quitclaim Deeds on behalf of the County. The Real Property Division is DIRECTED to cause said deed to be delivered to grantee.
