HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01012001 - 2001-175 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adopted this Resolution on (date), by the following vote: AYES: SUPERVISORS GIOIA, GERBER, DESAULNIER, GLOVER and UILKEMA NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE ABSTAIN: NONE Resolution No. 2001/175 Subject: City of Antioch ) Lighting & Landscape ) Assessment District Ballot ) WHEREAS, the City of Antioch (the "City") uses Landscape and Lighting Districts to generate revenue for the operation and maintenance of streetlights, localized landscaping and parks throughout the City. WHEREAS, the City has administered as many as six districts with 18 benefit zones. WHEREAS, during a 1997 ballot, the City committed to bring the Landscape and Lighting Assessments back to property owners at the end of a four-year period which concludes on June 30, 2001. WHEREAS, Contra Costa County owns various parcels of property in Antioch's Benefit Zone No. 1 and No. 3, of which six parcels have annual assessments collectively totaling $605.77.
