The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT:
This summary vacation of an excess right of way of a street or highway no longer required
for street or highway purposes, is made pursuant to Division 9, Part 3, Chapter 4 of the Streets
and Highways Code, commencing with Section 8330, et. seq. A description of the portion to be
vacated is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference.
This vacation request is based on the fact that the street or highway has been superseded
by relocation (S. & H. Code Section 8330).

Project Description, Common Name (if any) and Location Subdivision 4434-
Vacation of 30 Feet of Right of Way, County File #CP 00-99. Project
Description: The project consists of the vacation of a 30-foot roadway easement
that extends through portions of lots 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 in Subdivision 4434.
Contra Costa County no longer needs the easement and wishes to terminate it.
The road was relocated and all utilities are now at the new location. Project
Location; The project is located on Las Quebradas, in the south county area
near the Town of Alamo (Figures 1 — 5).
This project is exempt from CEQA as a:
Ministerial Project(Sec. 15268) _ Other Statutory Exemption, Section
Declared Emergency(Sec. 15269(a)) JL General Rule of Applicability(Section 15061(b)(3)
Emergency Project(Sec. 15269(b)or(c))
Categorical Exemption,
for the following reason(s): It can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the
activity may have a significant adverse effect on the environment.
