IN THE MATTER OF HONORING RESOLUTION NO. 2001/61
JAMES AND BARBARA KNUPPE AS THE 2000
MORAGA BUSINESSPERSONS OF THE YEAR
WHEREAS, JAMES AND BARBARA KNUPPE have been committed to serving the community
through valuable contributions and involvement assisting others during times of need and emergency such
as the Red Cross and the Cancer Association; and
WHEREAS, JAMES AND BARBARA KNUPPE have served as tireless and devoted advocates oil
behalf of businesses through their generosity, leadership and commitment toward the quality of living in
the Town of Moraga; and
WHEREAS, JAMES AND BARBARA KNUPPE have served for many years inspiring
collaboration efforts between business, community volunteers, and the Town of Moraga through support
of Little League, youth sports organizations, the Alzheimer's Association; and
WHEREAS, JAMES AND BARBARA KNUPPE demonstrate their talents as valuable leaders
toward the betterment of business, government and the community of Moraga through their contributions,
endless energy and enthusiasm for others; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County does
hereby honor and commend
