Compensation Rates for the Engineer—
Deep Class and the Establishing a
Registration Differential
THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS in its capacity as
governing Board of the County of Contra Costa and all districts of which it is ex-officio
governing Board RESOLVES THAT:
Effective August 1, 2000, the following salary adjustments will be made to the Engineer
Deep Class:
1. Engineer- Entry Level: The salary for the Engineer — Entry Level classification
(NKXC) will be reallocated from salary level XD-2128 ($3901-4637) to salary level
M25 2174 ($4196-4988). This represents a 7.5% increase.
2. Engineer— Journey Level: The salary for the Engineer— Journey Level classification
(NKXD) will be reallocated from salary level XD-2326 ($4306-5650) to salary level
M25 2273 ($4632-6078). This represents a 7.5% increase.
3. Engineer — Proiect Level: The salary for the Engineer — Project Level classification
(NKXE) will be reallocated from salary level M25 2101 ($5246-6084) to salary level
M25 2197 ($5774-6697). This represents a 10% increase.
4. Registration Differential: Incumbents of the Engineer—Entry and Engineer- Journey
Level classifications will receive a 2.5% differential for possession of a valid
certificate of registration as a Civil Engineer issued by the California State board of
Registration for Civil and Professional Engineers.
