HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01012000 - 2000-126 CG/ Adopted this Order on March 21, 2000 by the following vote: AYES: SUPERVISORS GIOIA, UUM%, DESAU124M, CANCTLAMIL.TA, AND GERBER NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE ABSTAIN: NONE SUBJECT: Compensation and Benefits for County RESOLUTION NO. 2000/ 126 Officers, Managers, Unrepresented Employees and Consolidated Fire District Managers and Unrepresented Employees Pending the adoption of a general Resolution on the compensation and benefits for County Officers, Managers and Unrepresented Employees for the term from October 1, 1999 to September 30, 2002, subject to the provisions of Resolution No. 99/547, and excluding employees of the Fire Management Unit represented by the United Chief Officers Association, and employees who report to the Superior Court of California, County of Contra Costa, the Board of Supervisors amends Resolution Nos. 99/585, 99/592 and 99/655, as amended, pertaining to the salaries and benefits of County and Consolidated Fire District Officers, Management and Unrepresented Employees, effective October 1, 1999, as indicated below: 1. Effective April 1, 2000, the following Section L is added to Part II Differentials of Exhibit C 1999 — 2002 Management and Unrepresented Employees Compensation and Benefits Supplement of Resolution 99/585 Compensation and Benefits for County Officers. Managers and Unrepresented Employee L. Professional Development Differential for Treasurer—Tax Collector Management Classes Incumbents of the following listed classifications in the Treasurer — Tax Collector's Department shall be eligible to receive a monthly differential equivalent to 5% of base salary for possession of at least one (1) of the following specified professional certifications and for completion of stipulated continuing education requirements associated with the individual certificates. Verification of eligibility for any such differential shall be in writing to the Auditor— Controller by the Treasurer — Tax Collector or his/her designee. Under this program, no employee shall receive more than a single 5% differential at one time irrespective of the number of certificates held. (a). Classes eligible are: Treasurer—Tax Collector (S5A1) Assistant County Treasurer — Exempt (S5134) Assistant County Tax Collector(S5DF) Treasurer's Accounting Officer (S5SG) Treasurer's Investment Officer— Exempt (S5S3) Treasurer's Investment Operations Analyst (S5SD) Tax Operations Supervisor(S5HC) (b). Qualifying certificates: Certified Cash Manager (C.C.M.) Certified Financial Planner(C.F.P.) Certified Government Financial Planner (C.G.F.P.) Certified Treasury Manager(C.T.M.)
