HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01012000 - 2000-014 COUNTY, CALIFORNIATHE BOARD OF SUPERVISORSOF CONTRA COSTA CO Adopted this Order on January 18, 2000 by the following vote: AYES: SUPERVISORS JOHN GIOIA, UILKEMA, DESAULNIER, CANCIAMILIA AND GERBER NOES: NONE ABSENT: NONE ABSTAIN: NONE SUBJECT: Grant Permission to Close a portion of Parker Avenue, for the Purpose of Annual Rodeo Baseball Association Opening Day Parade (RC-99-27), in the Rodeo area. IT IS BY THE BOARD ORDERED that permission is granted to Rodeo Baseball Association to completely close Parker Avenue, except for emergency traffic, on March 11, 2000 for the period of 8:00 a.m. through 10:00 a.m. subject to the following conditions: 1. Traffic will be detoured via neighboring streets. 2. All signing to be in accordance with the State of California Manual of Traffic Controls. 3. Rodeo Baseball Association shall comply with the requirements of the Ordinance Code of Contra Costa County. 4. Have on file with the County a Certificate of Insurance in the amount of$1,000,000 for Comprehensive General Public Liability which names the County as an additional insured. 5. Obtain approval for the closure from the Sheriff's Department,the California Highway Patrol and the Fire District.
