HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01011999 - 1999-040 CONTRA COSTA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS Adopted this Resolution on January 26, 1999, by the following vote: AYES: SUPERVISORS GIOIA, UILKEMA, GERBER, DeSAULNIER AND CANCIAMIUA NOES: NONE ABSENT:NONE RESOLUTION NO. 99/AO-- (Government Code § 25350) SUBJECT: Intention to Purchase Real Property Summit Centre Office Building 2530 Arnold Drive Martinez, California Project No.: 4405-4197-6G5384 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO PURCHASE REAL PROPERTY The Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County RESOLVES THAT: It intends to purchase from Summit Centre Investors, Inc., for County office purposes, the real property described in Exhibit"A" attached hereto, for$12,200,000.00, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Lease Agreement between the County of Contra Costa and Summit Centre Investors, Inc., dated February 1, 1998, which is a fair and reasonable price therefor. A copy of said agreement is on file in the Public Works Department. This Board will meet on March 9, 1999, at 9:00 a.m. in the Board's Chambers, County Administration Building, Martinez, Califomia, to consummate this purchase and the Clerk of this Board is DIRECTED to publish the attached Notice of Intention to Purchase Real Property in the Contra Costa Times pursuant to Government Code Section 6063. This Board hereby FINDS that the proposed acquisition will not have a significant effect on the environment and that it has been determined to be exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act under State CEQA guidelines Section 15061 (b)(1). This Board DIRECTS the Director of Community Development to file a Notice of Exemption with the County Clerk and DIRECTS the Public Works Director to arrange for payment of the $25.00 handling fee to the County Clerk.
