SPECIFIC REQUEST(S)OR RECOMMENDATION(S)&BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION
RESOLUTION NO. 99/ 20
RECOMME ATIONS Recognize the continued existence and contributions of the
Rodeo Municipal Advisory Council and establish a new sunset date for its continued existence
until June 30,2001.
BACKGROUMIREASONS FOR RECOMMENDATIONS
The Rodeo Municipal Advisory Council (RMAC)was created on February 15, 1994 by
Board of Supervisors. Since that date it has provided the Board with valuable advice and
assistance concerning the provision of County programs and services in the Rodeo area.
It is very desirable that the RMAC should continue to so perform these functions subject
to the fixing of an appropriate future review date as to its continued existence. For this reason,
RMAC shall continue in existence until June 30, 2001 and shall dissolve on that date unless the
Board of Supervisors has on or before that date extended the RMAC's existence.
