IN THE MATTER OF RECOGNIZING)
AMY WORTH, CHAIR OF THE
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY ) RESOLUTION NO. 99/12
LIBRARY M I SSION )
WHEREAS, Amy Worth of Orinda has served on the Contra Costa County Library
Commission since it began in April 1991; and
WHEREAS,Amy Worth served as Chair of the Library Commission from June 1995
to December 1998; and
WHEREAS, Amy Worth has provided exemplary leadership for the Library
Commission and
WHEREAS,Amy Worth has given tirelessly of her time over these past seven years
and her commitment has provided an outstanding model for others; and
WHEREAS, Amy Worth has been a continuous advocate for the Contra Costa
County Library through her contacts, presentations and extraordinary efforts to
improve library service throughout the County; and
WHEREAS, the Contra Costa County Library and its Commission, staff' and all
library patrons have greatly benefitted from Any Worth's enthusiasm, involvement
and dedication.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
OF THE COUNTY OF CONTRA COSTA, CALIFORNIA,does hereby acknowledge
and commend Amy Worth for her extraordinary commitment and lasting
contributions to the Contra Costa County Library and to library users throughout the
County.
PASSED by unanimous vote of the Board Members present on this 19th day of
January 1999.
