Management Resolution 96/488 Resolution No. 981 98/363
THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RESOLVES THAT:
The Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution 96/488 on November 19, 1996; AND,
The County Human Resources Director proposes that said Resolution be amended
as follows; NOW THEREFORE:
The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors in its capacity as governing Board
of the County of Contra Costa and all districts of which it is the ex officio governing
Board, RESOLVES THAT:
Resolution 96/488 is amended, in part, to include language from attached
Resolution 86/169 adopted by the Board on April 8, 1986, and to additionally
provide the five percent (5%) differential to the classification of Supervising
Structural Engineer-Building Inspection which was established in 1993. The
amended language is as follows:
1. Part II (Differentials) of Exhibit C 1995-99 Management and Unrepresented
F=mployees Compensation and B!2nefits Sup2lement of Resolution 9151488,
shall have included as new Section O, the following:
O. Effective July 1, 1998, incumbents of the management classes of
Structural Engineer-Building Inspection, Senior Structural Engineer-
Building inspection, and Supervising Structural Engineer-Building
Inspection employed in the County Building Inspection Department who
possess a valid Certificate of Authority to use the title "Structural
Engineer" issued by the California State Board of Registration for
Professional Engineers shall, at the discretion of the Department Head,
be eligible for a differential of five percent (5%) of monthly base salary.
