The Public Works Director has notified this Board that the improvements in Minor Subdivision 12-93 have been completed as provided in the Subdivision Agreement with Drew Smutney heretofore approved by this Board in conjunction with the filing of the Subdivision Map. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the improvements have been COMPLETED as of October 13, 1998,thereby establishing the six-month terminal period for the filing of liens in case of action under said Subdivision Agreement: DATF,OF AGREEMENT SURETY September 17, 1996 American Contractor Indemnity Company BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the payment(labor and materials)surety for$5,000,Bond No. 18263 issued by the above surety be RETAINED for the six month lien guarantee period until April 13, 1999, at which time the Clerk of the Board is AUTHORIZED to release the surety less the amount of any claims on file. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the beginning of the warranty period is hereby established, and the$1,000 cash deposit(Auditor's Deposit Permit No. 283187, dated September 4, 1990 made by Drew Smutney and the performance/maintenance surety for$10,000,Bond No. 18263 issued by American Contractor Indemnity Company be RETAINED pursuant to the requirements of Section 94-4.406 of the Ordinance Code until release by the Board. PHIL BATCHEL,C?, Cit:i k of the Board o upervisors and Cc ty Administrator By- - 1 f ,L�.!� c � Deputy IN THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, STATE OF CALIFORNIA In the Matter of Proclaiming October 22, ) 1998, as BA=RED WiOMEN'S ) RESOLUTION NO. 981 525 ALTER,NAYYVES DAYin Contra ) Costa County ) WHEREAS, Battered Women's Alternatives has spent the past 21 years working to eliminate domestic violence; and WHEREAS, Battered Women's Alternatives is the largest domestic violence agency in Northern California and the sole provider of domestic violence services in Contra Costa County, serving more than 12,500 battered women annually; and WHEREAS, Battered Women's Alternatives is a multi service agency which provides a broad range of services including a 24 hour crisis line, shelter, legal advocacy; a one-t"ne, couples and family counseling employment assistance; a batterer's treatment program; emergency response teams working in collaboration with police departments; and prevention programs; and WHEREAS, Battered Women's Alternatives hosts the annual Rebuilding Lives Luncheon during October, Domestic Violence Awareness Month, to raise awareness about the problem of domestic violence in our community and to raise much needed funds to end domestic violence. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors proclaims October 22, 1998, as BA=RED WOM M'S AL7ERNA77VES DAY in Contra Costa County. PASSED AND ADOPTED ON October 13, 1998, by a unanimous vote of the Board members present.
