HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01011998 - 1998-265 0/ IN THE MATTER OF HONORING RESOLUTION NO. 98/265 KIMBERLY ROARK AS A 1"S CALIFORNIA ARTS SCHOLAR WHEREAS, May 29, 1998 has been designated by the State of California as"California Arts Scholars Day" to draw special attention to those students who have achieved the highest distinction for California high school artists and who have been selected to participate in the California State Summer School for the Arts program,and WHEREAS, The California State Summer School for the Arts {CSSSA} has identified the most artistically talented and motivated high school students in the state;and WHEREAS, The California Arts Recognition Program of CSSSA is supported by the El Paso Energy, Corporation, and funding for CSSSA is provided to the California State Summer School Arts Foundation through a public-private partnership;and WHEREAS, "California Arts Scholars Day"ceremonies are scheduled in all 58 counties throughout the state in conjunction with local community arts agencies to ensure that students receive special honor in their respective communities. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of Contra Costa County, does hereby honor and commend the exceptionally talented Kimberly Roark,who is participating in this unique California State Summer School for the Arts statewide program. 0,adA resident of San Ramon.
