HomeMy WebLinkAboutRESOLUTIONS - 01011998 - 1998-106 THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF CONTRA COSTA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA Adapted this Order on March 17, 1998 , by the following vote: AYES: Supervisor Rogers,Uilkema, Gerber, Canciamilla, and DeSaulnier NOBS: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None In the matter of Aligning the Salary } Range of Certain Classifications With the } IZ.ESOLUTION N0. 98 /106 March 1998 State Minimum Wage Rate. The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors Resolves that: 1. Effective March 1, 1998,the deep class of Student Worker(999E)is allocated to Salary range TB- 0711 ($997-2039)with the hourly equivalent of the first step set at $5.75 per hour in accordance with the March 1, 1998 State minimum wage rate. 2. An appointing authority may make a limited term appointment of a Student Worker at the hourly equivalent of any level in the 30 step salary range. Guidelines for appointment shall be as indicated. High School enrollment: Steps 1-10; Community College enrollment or lower division at a four-year college or university: Steps 11-20; upper division status or post-graduate university enrollment: Steps 21-30. 3. Effective March 1, 1998,Private Industry Council Worker Trainee-Project(AV 71) is allocated to salary range KF-1510 ($997-2600) and Private Industry Council Youth Trainee-Project(AV 72) is allocated to salary range XF-1505 ($997$2167)with the hourly equivalent of the first step set at $5.75 per hour in accordance with the March 1, 1998 State minimum wage rate. 4. An appointing authority may make a limited term appointment of a Private Industry Council Worker Trainee-Project and Private Industry Council Youth Trainee-Project at the hourly equivalent of any step in the salary range.
